My sister bought a brand new Capri from our cousin. Bruce worked at a Long Island Mercury dealer and &#8220;got her a great deal on this marvelous new car&#8221;. Now I know Bruce did not manufacture the car, but my sister never forgave him as the car proved very un-reliable. In fact, the picture below is of a Capri positioned as a junk yard sign, my sister would agree with this use of the car.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2385\" title=\"A Capri atop a school bus as an advertisement for a Junk Yard  \" alt=\"capri_as_junkyard_sign\" src=\"http:\/\/cars-ydse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/capri_as_junkyard_sign.jpg?w=300\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cars-ydse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/capri_as_junkyard_sign.jpg 500w, https:\/\/cars-ydse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/capri_as_junkyard_sign-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 85vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In retrospect, this was a pretty\u00a0neat\u00a0car and handled quite well for its size and price.
